Tuesday Step Meeting on HHI is reopening starting 4 May 2021.
We Have to Live It Women’s meeting, Wednesday at 9:15 a.m., is reopening starting 5 May 2021.
DayStarters, 7:30 a.m. on HHI, is reopening starting 26 April 2021
At the September 27th Intergroup meeting, the committee voted to cancel the Fall Picnic due to limitations on the attendance due to COVID. We had looked for an alternate location but attendance restrictions are similar at other locations.
We are considering having a Spring event to replace the Fall Picnic if COVID restrictions are lifted by then. In the meantime, we are planning for some Zoom workshop on different topics.
The Serenity Group at YANA on HHI is ending the Friday 7:30 p.m. meeting effective August 28th.
Bluffton Downtown has a new meeting location at RSI (Resort Services Inc.), 336 Buck Island Rd., Bluffton. And the Tuesday night meeting has changed the start time to 6:30 p.m. Please see the meeting schedule for additional details.
The following notice was received 12 May 2020 regarding the re-opening of the YANA Club on Hilton Head:
YANA Club of Hilton Head 107 Matthews Dr.Hilton Head, SC. 29926 PANDEMIC Club Re-Opening Effective 5/18/2020 To all members of our recovery community: AA, NA and AL-ANON The members of the YANA Board have voted to Re-Open our clubhouse with business as close to usual as currently possible during this “pandemic “, and in keeping with the guidelines issued by the Governor. The following are some of the changes we deemed necessary to facilitate our reopening: The Sunday Morning Breakfast (8am) continues to be suspended until further notice The kitchen is closed. No cooking or coffee will be available (feel free to bring your own) Please do not bring anything for the refrigerator, anything left will be thrown out. For the safety of our members, face masks are required during meetings (they can be removed when sharing) Seating has been rearranged to comply with the Governor’s mandate, please do not rearrange the tables or chairs!

- 1.Self-isolation – if you are sick, stay home
- 2. Practice social distancing of at least six feet distance to the greatest extent possible
- 3. Wash hands frequently
- 4. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects
- 5. Avoid touching of eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands;
- 6. Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze and throw used tissues away immediately after use
Prior to reopening we have had the club professionally cleaned (including our A/C unit), please help us maintain the club by cleaning up before and after meetings (supplies are located in the front of the room. We realize the transition from Zoom meetings back to physical meetings at YANA will be a process as each person’s comfort level with others dictates their attendance.
